SERVICES:
Sunday (19th in Ordinary Time): First Reading was 1 Kings 19:4-8. Responsorial Psalm was Number 33 "Taste and see that the Lord is good." Second Reading was Ephesians 4:30-5:2, and the reading from the Holy Gospel was John 6:41-51. The Service next Sunday (Assumption of the Virgin Mary) is at 9,30am. The mid-week service (Feria) is at 9.30am on Thursday.
DROP-IN SESSION:
The weekly drop-in session continues to be held in the meeting area at the back of the church between 10.00am and 11.45am every Tuesday for anyone wanting information about the church, its activities, or simply for a natter and a cup of coffee. The tote will be drawn at 11.30am, last weeks winner was number 124.
SOCIAL:
A beetle drive and buffet supper hosted by St Peters will be held at St Andrews Community Centre on 19th August at 7.00pm. All are welcome.
