Sunday 27th July (17th In Ordinary Time). First Reading 1 Kings 3:5, 7-12. Responsorial Psalm was 118 "Lord how I love your law". Second Reading Romans 8:28-30. Gospel: Matthew 13:44-52.
The Service next Sunday - the 18th In Ordinary Time, will be at 9.30am. The mid-week Service (St Ignatius) is on Thursday 31st July at 9.30am.
Anniversary of First World War::
On Sunday 3rd August at 6.00pm there will be evening prayer for the vigil of the date when war broke out. On Monday 4th August the date that hostilities began there will be an open prayer time between 10.00am and 12.00 noon.There will also be a display relating to our local involvement.
Parish Hall:
There will be the usual coffee morning in the Church Hall From 10.00am to 11.45am on Tuesday 29th July. This will be followed by the Craft class from 1.00pm to 3.00pm. The Youth Club is held from 7.00pm to 8.30pm again on Tuesday. The winner of last weeks Tote was number 70.
Concert of Brass and Voice:
A final reminder that tickets are still available, see poster from previous post.. It is to be held in Church this coming Thursday evening (31st July).
The Summer Fayre:
