Services:
Sunday 23rd November (Our Lord Jesus Christ the King). First Reading Ezekiel 34:11-12. Responsorial Psalm was 22 "The Lord is my shepherd, there is nothing I shall want." Second Reading was 1 Corinthians 15:20-26, and the reading from the Holy Gospel was Matthew 25:31-46. The Service next Sunday (ADVENT) will be at 9.30am. There is no mid-week said service (Feria) this coming Thursday 27th November due to the Christmas Fayre)  
St Nicolas Ryecroft are holding their Patronal Festival on Fridat 5th December the sermon will be given by the Bishop of Beverley. There will be a buffet afterwards all are welcome.

We will be holding our Patronal Festival for St Andrew on Wednesday 3rd December at 9.30am.

Parish Hall:
The coffee morning will be held as usual on Tuesday 25th November from 10.00am. Last weeks Tote winner was number 82. The craft class is still being held in the afternoon. 
Please remember the Christmas Fayre will take place on 27th November again the the Parish Hall, starting at 9.00am and will include the drawing of the Christmas Hamper Raffle.

Christmas events:
The Christmas Dinner will take place at the Milton Arms on 8th December and the The Brass Band concert will take place on Thursday 11th December at 7.00pm and will include a selection of festive songs & carols. Tickets cost £7 (including refreshments) and are still available from Jane or Wanda, or at the Coffee mornings (See poster below).
The list of Christmas Services (shared with St Peters) will be available shortly.

Services:
Sunday 16th November (33rd in OrdinaryTime). First Reading Proverbs 31:1-13. Responsorial Psalm was 127 "O blessed are those who fear the Lord." Second Reading was 1 Thessalonians 5:1-6, and the reading from the Holy Gospel was Matthew 25:14-30. The Service next Sunday (Our Lord Jesus Christ the King) will be at 9.30am. The mid-week said service (Feria) this coming Thursday 20th November will also be at 9.30am. 

St Peters are holding a Dedication Festival on Tuesday 18th at 7.30pm, all are welcome.

Parish Hall:
The coffee morning will be held as usual on Tuesday 18th November from 10.00am. Last weeks Tote winner was number 148. The craft class is still being held in the afternoon. 

Please remember the Christmas Fayre will take place on 27th November again the the Parish Hall, starting at 9.30am and will include the drawing of the Christmas Hamper Raffle.

Christmas events:
There was a good response for the Christmas Dinner, it is now booked up. Menus have been circulated, please get your pre-orders to Wanda as soon as possible.
The Brass Band concert arrangements have been finalised. It will take place on Thursday 11th December at 7.30pm and will include a selection of festive songs & carols. Tickets cost £7 (including refreshments) and are available from Jane as before, or at the Coffee mornings.

Services:
Sunday 2nd November (All Saints). First Reading Apocalypse 7:2-4. Responsorial Psalm was 23 "Such are the men who seek your face O Lord." Second Reading was 1 John 3:1-3, and the reading from the Holy Gospel was Matthew 5:1-12. The Service next Sunday Remembrance will be a joint mass to be held with, and at St Peters at 9.30am. The service will then continue at the Cenotaph. However the will be a special Memorial for the Departed service at 5.00pm the same day at St Andrews, this is mainly for people who have been bereaved during the past year. Please note there will be no mid-week said service (Feria) this coming Thursday. 
Parish Hall:
The coffee morning will be held as usual on Tuesday 4th November from 10.00am. Last weeks Tote winner was number 133. The craft class is still being held in the afternoon. 
Christmas Hamper Raffle;
There is a list of items at the back of the church that are required for the Hamper are gradually filling up.If you wish to donate please write your name at the side of any spare item you want to give. All items to Sheila or Sandra by Sunday 2nd November please. Tickets will go on sale from 11th November (at the coffee morning) and the winning number will be drawn at the Christmas Fayre on Thursday 27th November. 
Christmas Dinner:
There has been a good response to this and all tickets have now been sold.
