| Sunday Service: First Reading Isiah 50:4-7, Second Reading;Philippians 2:6-7, Gospel Luke 22:14-23. Last week's tote winner was number 65 prize money £56.25. Last chance to obtain tickets for the Easter Hamper Raffle, it will be drawn at the coffee morning on Tuesday 26th March. The services for Holy Week are:- Maunday Thursday 6.30pm Mass of the Lord's Supper. Good Friday Liturgy of the Passion 2.00pm. Easter Sunday Mass 9.30am. In addition there will be a Chrism Mass At Goldthorpe Parish Chuch on 27th at 12 noon. It will be the first celebrated in our Diocese by Bishop Glyn. At this service the holy oils are blessed. The Easter vigil will be held at St Peters from 7.00pm this coming Saturday. The annual Parochial Church meeting will take place on Monday 29th April 2013 in the Parish Hall at 7.00pm, all are encouraged to attend. |
