Services:
Sunday 7th December (2nd Sunday of Advent). First Reading Isaiah 40:1-5. Responsorial Psalm was 84 "Let us see, O Lord, your mercy and give us your saving help." Second Reading was 2 Peter 3:8-14, and the reading from the Holy Gospel was Mark 1:1-8. The Service next Sunday (3rd of Advent) will be at 9.30am. The mid-week service (Feria) will take place this coming Thursday 11th December.
Parish Hall:
The coffee morning will be held as usual on Tuesday 9th December.Last weeks Tote winner was number 46. The craft class is still being held in the afternoon.
Christmas events:
DON'T FORGET the Christmas Dinner tonight at the Milton Arms (8th December) this is fully booked but there are tickets still available for the The Brass Band concert on Thursday 11th December at 7.00pm. Tickets cost £7 (including refreshments) and are still available from Jane or Wanda, or at the Coffee mornings (See poster on previous post), or you can pay on the door.
