SERVICES:
Sunday (23rd in Ordinary Time): First Reading was Isiah 35:4-7. Responsorial Psalm was Number 145 "The just will live in the presence of the Lord." Second Reading was James 2:1-5, and the reading from the Holy Gospel was Mark 7:31-37. The Service next Sunday (24th in Ordinary Time) at 9.30am is the United Benefice Mass when the guest preacher will be the Bishop of Whitby.The mid-week service (Feria) is at 9.30am on Thursday.
DROP-IN SESSION:
A drop-in session is held at the back of church between 10.00am and 11.45am every Tuesday for anyone wanting information about the church, its activities, or simply for a natter and a cup of coffee. The tote will be drawn at 11.30am.
SUMMER FAYRE:
We managed to raise a much needed £340 towards the upkeep of the church. A big thank you to all those who supported it.
SOCIAL ACTIVITIES:
An early date for your diaries, the Christmas Dinner will take place on Monday 7th December 2015. The venue is yet to be confirmed. Also look out for details of the Brass Band concert which will be published shortly.
