Christmas Message from Father Richard:
Is there any room at the inn? This famous question which features in Nativity plays was once asked in the crowded city of Bethlehem where Jesus was born. The baby who became for Christians their Lord and Saviour was born unnoticed by the great majority of people. Although Christmas is a big celebration and one which we prepare for well in advance, the original and timeless meaning of Christmas often goes unnoticed in our busy homes, streets and workplaces. Even so, it is a message which brings peace, joy and hope to all who are ready to receive it. In the birth of Jesus we discover God’s love for the world and for each one of us. Is there any room in our lives to receive God’s gift? You are welcome to come and join us as we begin our celebration of Christmas.
Parish Hall:
The coffee morning is suspended until Tuesday 6th January 2015 but the Parish Hall will still be open on Tuesday mornings for the collection of Tote monies.
